Took my GTO to them, did not know they use a remote Tuner, would never have got into that had it been up front, as it was I was not made aware until the car was strapped down to the machine.
When they were done the idle was set at 1100rpm, not 900-950 that it should be. There were serious drivability
issues such as having to wind up the motor and extremely slip the clutch to get moving, when stalled had to hold it to the floor to restart, made me paranoid to get stopped uphill at a light, was running rich and surging that made it impossible to use 6th gear at less than 60mph.
I took it back, got the idle down to 1000rpm but the other issues remained. Was told it was the nature of the cam, that was BS, they apparently thought it was my first rodeo, not, been into performance for 50 years.
Took it to another tuner, he straightened up all of the issues that I had paid $600 for.
When you have problems they try to make it your fault.
